Meet the Staff! 

ARON SUPRUN 

owner & MANAGER

Aron opened the fitness centre with his brother, Dr. Shawn Suprun in 2002 and has been in business ever since. After celebrating 19 years of healthy and successful business Aron now more than ever, recognizes the importance and demand for health and fitness in our community.

He is constantly making new additions to the fitness centre, incorporating new equipment and adjusting our extensive group fitness schedule to accommodate all of our members. Aron has been a personal trainer for over 19 years and has practical experience with injuries and rehabilitation. He specializes in getting clients back on their feet and is passionate about returning them to a healthy life.

pAM bOUFFORD

personal TRAINER & INSTRUCTOR

Pam has been a part of our team here at Port Dover Health & Fitness Centre since 2006. She enjoys talking to customers and clients about physical fitness and making them feel comfortable in the fitness centre.

 

She was certified as a Personal Training Specialist in 2005 and has a certification for Level One Resistance ball training. She enjoys working out frequently and she enjoys fishing with her family, hiking and photography. You can find Pam teaching a variety of classes 20/20/20 , TRX Fusion, Tabata & Body Mix. She also teaches our senior classes including Senior balance and Toning and Senior TRX.

I started my journey at the Port Dover Health and Fitness Centre in 2014 as a high school co-op student. I then went away to school for three years at Mohawk College for Health, Wellness and Fitness. In my final year of college I was asked if i wanted to return to PDHFC and I of course said yes! I love the atmosphere of the Port Dover Health and Fitness Centre, and everyone is so friendly! I started back at the gym in 2017!

 

I currently do Personal Training and teach Group Fitness classes!      I am a Certified Personal Training Specialist, as well as a Fitness Instructor Specialist through Canfitpro. I am a Certified Level One Nutrition Coach, and Sleep, Stress Management and Recovery Coach through Precision Nutrition. I am also a Certified Pre- and Postnatal Coach through Girls Gone Strong, and I am Certified in First Aid and CPR Level C through the Red Cross

I’ve been apart of the port Dover fitness family for 7 years. I teach TABATA, Bootcamp, TRX and Zumba.

 

If I’m not at the gym you can find me on an adventure with my wonderful family. I love watching people make goals and crushing them. Can’t wait to see you all in the new year. Thank you for all your support.

CYT200, joined PDHFC in 2021 offering a couple of yoga classes, something new to PDHFC.  Since then the yoga community has grown to 7 classes on the schedule per week with a little something for everyone, from Gentle Stretch and Strength, more slow and intentional to Good Morning Vinyasa, a fun and energetic way to start your weekend.  

 

All of Jenny’s classes are an accessible balance of functional movement, strength and flexibility.  When Jenny is not playing on her yoga mat, she can be found wandering in the woods or floating away on her paddleboard.   Growing a yoga community at PDHFC has been so much fun.  Learning, stumbling, laughing, reminding ourselves to not take any of it seriously.

Denise Galloway

moved to Port Dover 2 years ago and immediately joined PDHFC as a participant. What fun! After 1 year, Denise joined the team sharing her love of health and wellness through fitness by teaching yoga. Denise teaches Monday evening Hatha Yoga - a well rounded practice which includes breath work, postures, an inversion, ending with guided meditation.

Tuesday afternoon yoga is Energy Flow Yoga - a fun challenging class which includes strength and balance, one posture flowing into the next, ending with an inversion and guided meditation. All are welcome. Denise brings with her over 52 years of experience in practicing Hatha Yoga. She is a registered E-RYT500 Yoga teacher and has been teaching for 18 years.

 

She is a certified Pilates Matwork Teacher, teaching for 19 years; Certified Personal Training Specialist, Canfitpro, providing training for 16 years. Denise is also an Active Aging Specialist: Canfitpro, Body Harmonics, Osteoporosis Canada. In her spare time  Denise loves to spend time with her family & friends, garden and paint and of course exercise.

BRITT WOLSKI

FRONT DESK

 

Britt has spent her whole life playing sports; she was captain of her swim team for 3 years, captain of her soccer team and coached little basketball among many other sports and activities.

 

She enjoys working in a place as welcoming and friendly as PDHFC; where she can also keep up with her active lifestyle. She is on track to becoming a paramedic in a few years but when she is not studying or working, she enjoys literature, painting and taking her handful pack of huskies for walks on the trail.
